Hello there! I am the Laura in sealaura, welcome to my coastal lifestyle blog. For most of my life I have been a Spanish language ambassador and avid Francophile. I enjoy travel, fashion, and art but most especially the sea. “sealaura” is a coastal lifestyle blog dedicated to sharing all of my passions and love for an easy breezy beachy life no matter where you reside.
My love of foreign languages is what sparked my love for travel. I am a native Spanish speaker and am also proficient in French. I have spent my professional career teaching language at two prominent universities : the University of Notre Dame and the University of Redlands. Most recently I had the honor to work at the Defense Language Institute for the US ARMY.
I started this blog to explore a career in media and to showcase all the beachy inspiration I find along the way. I love writing about my travels, food and fashion.
